- The RTHCS is a industry standard, modular VME or cPCI bus system offering
redundant processing power and capacity, and providing sufficient expansion potential
to meet foreseeable future enhancements. The RTHCS is located in a computer
cabinet.
- Globally Shared Memory Network Interface is used to provide real-time synchronization
and data transmission for sub systems like Aerodynamic, Instructor Station, Motion System,
CLS(Control Loading System), Cockpit & Instruments System, Visual and Audio System etc.
- The software is a program to monitor whole simulator computer system, to drive system,
to start computer operating system, to initialize system, to check CPU condition,
to release out of order condition, and to diagnose On-line, Off-line of computer systems.
- The RTHCS -- comprised completely of commercial off-the-shelf(COTS) hardware and software
components -- was delivered on a expedited schedule to meet critical training requirements.
